Method of Preparation

Finger Millet/ Ragi known in Hausa as Tamba, Yoruba as Okababa, Igbo as Achara is a quality and nutritious flour which can be used as an alternative to wheat, weaning food for babies, making of cake and bread etc.; It can be prepared by; Step 1- Pour finger millet flour into a bowl Step 2- Add normal water and stir into thick paste Step 3- Add in boiling water or cook it and stir into thick pap paste Step 4- Add milk or yoghurt, sugar or honey, lemon or lime, termarin as desired. Can be used for baking cakes, bread and other pastries

Finger Millet Flour Contains; Protein 7.6g, Fat 1.5g, Carbohydrates 88g, Fiber 3g, Thiamine (B1) 0.33mg, Vitamin A 0.48mg, Calcium 370mg, Riboflavin (B2) 0.11mg, Niacin (B3) 1.2mg
